As a continuation of the project BelAmI www.belami-project.org, based on the German-Hungarian cooperation NAP2005, the goal of project BelAmI_H 2^nd Phase is to carry on the further development and introduction of Ambient Intelligence (AmI) applications, and to prepare new technologies for market introduction. The best way to achieve the above goals is to support at a local level the development phase, while in the meantime to assure cooperation in order to reach the partner’s market. However, the research cooperation with our German partners will be still carried on. We also plan to further enlarge the number of other national and international research projects (www.emerge-project.eu) in which we are involved.

With the research of Ambient Intelligence (AmI) systems we plan to step further considering the above directions:

• Application of AmI
  in daily life
• Application of AmI in Intelligent Transportation Systems

The work plan reflects the above presented main goals:

• By selecting a few technologies with perspective we give rise to our basic solution kits (called frameworks)
• We investigate and select a few market segments for which our solutions look promising, and for some certain cases we develop proper solutions (since we will able to easily satisfy new demands using our frameworks)
• In cases when there is no sufficient technical knowledge to cover the rising demands applied research will help to find the proper solutions
• For a better participation on the market we also plan to analyze and evaluate the social acceptance of our solutions
